Is it getting hotter?
Are the icebergs melting?
Is the temperature rising?
Each year is getting hotter. This is beacause of Global Warming. The polar bears will have no home beacause the ice is melting and the sea water is rising.
Question: Is this true? Are the levels of the ocean rising while the icebergs melt.
What you need for the experiment:
An average sized plastic container.
An ice cube or two.
A rock.
What to do:
Half fill the container with water. With a permanent texta mark the water level. Place the rock in the middle of the water. Put the however many pieces of ice you have in the water. Wait till the ice melts. Is the water level the same as you left it?
