Igneous rocks are formed by cooled magma. The magma comes from underground, up and in to a volcano and when it is ready to explode, the magma comes out, dries of,
and there you have it, the igneous rock.
Sedimentary rocks are produced when sediments are pressed or cemented together. They can be created under water or on land.
Metamorphic rocks are formed when igneous rocks or sedimentary rocks are pressured and heated to a high temperature and then the rocks turn igneous rocks or sedimentary rocks turn into a Metamorphic rock.
